Job Summary
The Field Sales Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to enhance sales activities through account maintenance, prospecting, and customer service. Responsibilities include developing and preparing marketing materials, performing inspections and evaluations, reporting on roof conditions, and managing project site visits. The role demands strong technical expertise in roofing, effective communication and organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues during installation. Candidates must possess an Associate's degree, relevant industry experience, and proficiency in fundamental software applications.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role
- Prior sales and/or customer-related experience in roofing industry
- Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with MS Word and Excel
- Familiarity with CADD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
