Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative for Spectrum responsible for acquiring new residential customers, conducting consultative needs analyses, presenting compelling sales proposals, and achieving monthly targets across Spectrum services (high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video). Field-based, primarily outdoors, with minimal time in an office; requires travel to assigned territories, a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Compensation includes a base salary with incentives likely bringing total compensation to over $100,000 annually. Education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in sales or customer-facing roles preferred (2+ years). Must be able to work in the United States without employment-based immigration sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel to assigned territories and company facilities (including during inclement weather)
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Experience in sales or customer-facing roles preferred (2+ years)
- Familiarity with computers and consumer/enterprise devices (routers, modems, PDAs, smartphones)
- Valid work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
