Job Summary
Field Sales role at Spectrum requiring outdoor, in-territory engagement to acquire residential customers by visiting leads, conducting consultative needs analyses, and presenting tailored proposals for Spectrum’s high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video services. You’ll complete sales documentation, participate in training, and strive to meet monthly targets while monitoring competitors. The position emphasizes face-to-face outdoor work with a need for strong English communication, interpersonal skills, the ability to travel to territories, and the capacity to work evenings/weekends with independent work habits. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Engaging interpersonal skills
- Ability to listen, formulate needs based sales strategies, and articulate pitches
- Willingness and ability to travel to and from assigned territories
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and consumer/enterprise devices (PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, set-top converters)
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, satisfactory driving record, and access to a reliable personal vehicle
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to travel to assigned territories and company facilities
- Ability to lift and transport up to 10-20 pounds as needed
