Job Summary
Conduct property assessments to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels for residential and commercial clients. Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate water damage by leveraging established pricing matrices and insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes and close sales. Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for plumbing or water-related issues while serving as a trusted information resource. Maintain IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician and Applied Structural Drying Technician certifications and ensure medical clearance for respirator use.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable background check per company standards
- Exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Water Restoration and practices
- Organized self-starter
- Outgoing personality
- Working knowledge of common software programs such as Word, Excel
- Working knowledge of Roto-Rooter specific computer programs
- Medical clearance to wear a respirator
- Ability to complete a respirator fit test
- IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification
- Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with outside sales of in-home services
