Job Summary
As a Field Sales Representative for State, Local, and Education organizations, you will engage customer prospects by presenting and selling products and services. Your responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, performing needs analysis, coordinating sales activities, and developing tailored sales presentations. The role requires 3 to 5 years of tech sales experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Strong communication, negotiation skills, and a professional appearance are essential. Significant travel is required, and candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in tech related sales
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent sales experience
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- A professional appearance
- Self-starter skills and the ability to drive results with limited direction and supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate with people of all levels
Desired Qualifications
- Previous technology selling experience is a plus
- Ability to understand cost, pricing, and margins
