Job Summary

Senior Field Sales role supporting Cox Automotive’s Manheim Inventory Solutions with existing dealer clients. You’ll travel to client sites 4–5 days per week in Northern California (Oakland to Lodi area) to sell value-added Inventory Solutions, develop and execute a sales strategy to retain and grow revenue within an assigned book of business, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client success. Responsibilities include consultative selling, lead generation, developing opportunities across Cox Automotive solutions, leveraging Salesforce for account management, and delivering solutions-based selling at the client’s place of business. Required skills include a bachelor’s degree (or higher combinations as noted), 4+ years of sales experience (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, strong communication and relationship-building abilities, and familiarity with sales processes and automotive/auction environments. The role emphasizes remote work with substantial travel, quota attainment, and a focus on delivering measurable business impact for dealer clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ sales experience; alternative combinations such as Master’s degree with 2 years’ experience, Ph.D. with up to 1 year, or 8 years’ sales experience; valid driver’s license and safe driving record; working knowledge of sales and marketing techniques; ability to travel 4-5 days per week; strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills; Salesforce experience preferred.
