Job Summary
Field Sales Representative to own and grow the Great Lakes territory (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Northwest Illinois) by selling Restek’s chromatography consumables, acting as a technical resource to labs, developing and executing a territory sales plan, building lasting customer relationships through consultative selling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires travel up to 50% within the territory to meet with customers and drive revenue through labs and institutions; ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in business, chemistry, or related science and 3+ years of chromatography-focused, customer-facing experience. Strong communication, organizational skills, CRM proficiency, and the ability to translate scientific concepts into practical solutions are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, chemistry, or related science
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Liquid or Gas Chromatography
- Proven customer-facing experience (sales, tech support, or project management)
- Previous experience selling or supporting chromatography consumables strongly preferred
- Sales/consultative training (e.g. SPIN Selling) a plus
