Job Summary

Field Sales Representative responsible for defining markets, developing relationships with customers and engineers, managing the assigned sales territory, planning strategy, and driving solution selling. Build and promote relationships with customer contacts, participate in quarterly business reviews, collaborate with engineers and designers on electronics designs, understand pricing programs, and drive revenue growth through demand creation and cross-functional teamwork. Travel across the NY region with in-office 1 day per week as needed. Strong emphasis on working with vendors, customers, and suppliers to support supply chain management and value-added services.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years field sales or account development experience
  • Must be located within the Rochester/Buffalo area
  • Experience with interconnect, passive, and electromechanical components
  • Ability to build cross functional relationships
  • Proven skill in multitasking and efficiently managing one's own schedule
  • Experience working with manufacturing reps and suppliers
  • Skilled in generating on-demand solutions, prospecting new customers, and driving revenue growth
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Oracle
  • Ability to promote and sell value-added services and full life cycle programs offered by Arrow
