Job Summary
Field Sales Manager responsibilities include defining markets and identifying new customers in the assigned territory, planning strategy, and developing relationships to support solution selling. The role emphasizes selling Arrow’s full offerings, managing strategic accounts, preparing internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs) and leading regular QBRs with major customers to unlock opportunities, promoting value-added services and supply-chain programs, and maintaining customer satisfaction in a technical/engineering environment. Requires proficiency with sales tracking systems (SalesForce.com, Oracle) and the ability to build strong supplier relationships while participating in a sales compensation plan with variable OTE. Experience in pricing programs within electronics and the ability to develop strategic plans for accounts are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment
- extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry
- ability to develop strategic plans for assigned accounts
- ability to lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with major customers
- proficiency in sales tracking systems, SalesForce.com, Oracle
- ability to build relationships with key suppliers
- customer relationship management in a sales role
- solution selling across full Arrow offerings
- communication and presentation skills for internal quarterly reviews
