Job Summary
Develop new business and strengthen customer relationships in logistics services. Successfully close transactions and achieve sales goals while building a database of qualified leads through various methods including cold calling and networking. Demonstrate technical selling skills, conduct effective proposal presentations, and maintain accurate sales records. Must be self-motivated, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements. Requires a high school degree or GED and a minimum of three years’ experience in transportation or logistics sales.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years’ transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding sales experience
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of business acumen
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Have a valid driver’s license and own or lease a presentable fully maintained and insured vehicle for business use
