Job Summary
Drive regional restaurant acquisition by mapping, prospecting, pitching, and closing high-value partners across the North East and Yorkshire to expand local market selection. Execute strategic business development through physical visits, emails, calls, and social platforms to demonstrate commercial value, while owning the end-to-end partner onboarding journey for efficiency. Structure high-impact partnerships by negotiating contract terms that secure win-win outcomes, and act as a local territory expert by identifying emerging culinary trends and key brands. This hybrid role requires a valid UK driving licence and vehicle access, with a focus on autonomous field-based resilience and relationship building within Deliveroo's Commercial team.
Required Qualifications
- Proven new business acquisition
- Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of actively targeting new business and consistently delivering against demanding commercial targets
- Commercial negotiation skills
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to handle negotiations and structure profitable, sustainable deals
- Autonomy and field-based resilience
- A self-motivated, tenacious approach with the ability to work independently and spend significant time out on the road meeting prospects
- Effective relationship building
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to connect with diverse business owners and present product value clearly
- Possession of a valid UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle to facilitate travel across the North East and Yorkshire region
