Job Summary
Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company objectives to achieve year-over-year growth. Identify new business opportunities through plant surveys and customer interactions, serving as a trusted advisor to distributors and end users in the power transmission industry. Conduct regular site visits to maintain visibility, provide product recommendations based on application analysis, and collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to close strategic opportunities. Submit accurate sales reports and utilize Salesforce and Power BI to track performance and forecast trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2–3 years of experience in the power transmission or industrial equipment industry
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Ability to walk long distances in industrial environments, including extreme heat, dust, heights, and confined spaces
- Comfortable with climbing structures, walking catwalks, and accessing tight areas
- Ability to lift and pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to drive for extended periods
- Ability to travel frequently within the territory
- Comfortable presenting in-person and virtually to individuals and small groups
