Field Sales Engineer Flexim

Job Summary
Own and deliver budget targets for assigned customer accounts while increasing market share of Flexim products through competitor displacement. Forecast opportunities, update CRM business planning tools, and identify new business across water treatment, utility, and infrastructure sectors. Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, and consultants to grow loyalty. Collaborate with instrument sales teams, Product Managers, and the Marketing Team to ensure complete account coverage, align messaging, and share application knowledge. Operate in client boardrooms and the field providing hands-on physical product measurement demos, with an expectation of four customer visits per week. Leverage existing strengths in non-intrusive ultrasonic flow to position as a preferred supplier and trusted advisor within the water and process industries.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of flow measurement principles
- Ideally with ultrasonic experience
- Background and experience in Developing Business, Product & Solution Sales and Engineering
- Proven track record of consultative direct selling in a B2B environment, securing new business with existing customers
- Experience in developing long-term relationships with external customers
- Flow Metering sales experience or sales experience within the Water industry
- Proactive, flexible and consultative selling experience
- Consistent record in sales and new business development within The Netherlands
- Demonstrating a strong industry network
- Good understanding of flow measurement technologies
