Job Summary
Field Sales Consultant self-generates sales leads and presents in-home solar products and services to potential customers. Builds genuine customer relationships, qualifies opportunities for solar as a viable energy solution, and manages the pipeline from prospect to installation. Responsibilities include in-home presentations, following up on leads and consultations, reporting outcomes via CRM, and meeting sales targets. Requires travel within the local market and flexibility to work evenings/weekends. Requires 21+ years old, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Strong communication and teamwork skills are needed, with comfort using technology and CRM systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience
- In-home sales experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with ability to pass a driving background check
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to spend time traveling within local market
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Intermediate comfort with technology, IPAD/computer and multiple software applications; CRM experience a plus
