Job Summary
Field Sales Consultant at Sunrun self-generates sales leads and delivers in-home solar product presentations to qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution. Responsibilities include developing self-generated sales strategies, managing an activity pipeline from prospect to installation, presenting to customers in their homes, following up on leads, and accurately reporting outcomes via CRM. Requires in-home sales experience (1+ year preferred), strong communication and teamwork, ability to travel within the local market, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends; technology comfort with IPAD/computers and CRM is a plus. Competitive compensation with benefits and opportunities such as PowerU education reimbursement and incentive programs; compensation in California ranges are referenced but location-based.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience
- In-home sales experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a driving background check
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel within local market
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Comfort with technology (IPAD/computer; CRM experience a plus)
