Job Summary
Field Sales Agronomist in Michigan territory focused on on-farm agronomy sales and grower education. Responsibilities include coaching and leveraging the Pioneer agency network, leading local trials and agronomy communications to support grower education and sales growth, maintaining strong agronomic and technical knowledge of Pioneer/Corteva products, and delivering a differentiated customer experience. The role requires relationship-building, effective sales tactics, value-added negotiations, collaboration with peers and external partners, and willingness to travel within a rural Michigan territory. Travel ahead to support business activities is expected; VISA sponsorship and international relocation are not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- Five to seven (5-7) years of agronomy sales experience, educating and empowering individuals is preferred
- Must be able to sell, negotiate, influence, resolve conflict, and coach
- Agronomy and crop production experience is desired
- Willingness to travel and work in a rural environment
- Ability to pass a driving record background check
- VISA sponsorship is not available for this position
- International relocation is not offered for this position
