Job Summary
Drive profitable sales and market share growth for FS-supported seed brands and forage seed products. Lead and initiate sales calls with targeted growers in coordination with FS companies to promote seed brands and other assigned products. Provide seed leadership through training, product knowledge, and execution of marketing strategies to achieve growth and profitability for assigned members. Implement business plans using sales administration tools to drive growth and sales retention. Deliver technical and marketing leadership for GROWMARK Agronomy initiatives and provide field-level agronomic and sales support to targeted crop specialists and growers, comparing features and agronomic benefits of GROWMARK products versus competitors. Lead FS companies in executing grower strategies to gain market share across all assigned products. Additional duties include ASP support, training and certification testing, and adherence to Code of Conduct, safety, and compliance programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business or Agronomy or equivalent
- Certified Crop Advisor certificate or ability to obtain within 1 year
- Must reside within defined territory
- Must have valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Occasional travel and overnight travel as needed
- Ability to lift 51-70 pounds as needed
- Willingness to participate in required training related to company policies and products
