Job Summary
Field-based Field Sales Agent role for Turaco (6-month assignment with potential extension) focused on introducing and selling an innovative subscription-based insurance product to customers in the field. Responsibilities include direct engagement with potential customers, collaborating with partner sales teams, explaining product benefits and enrollment details, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, maintaining leads and interactions records, providing market feedback, attending training sessions, and traveling to diverse field environments. Requires a Bachelor's degree, strong sales and communication skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, and willingness to travel; compensation includes daily wage with commissions. Occasional deployments to partner offices are possible; location listed as Kampala, Uganda.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree holder
- Previous experience in field sales (insurance, financial products, or FMCG strongly preferred.)
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Professional, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel and operate in diverse field environments.
- Digital literacy including the use of work tools for reporting and communication.
