Job Summary
Field Safety Supervisor leading on-site electrical safety and compliance across construction and substations. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, coaching crews on hazard awareness and proper PPE use, reviewing and mentoring JSA documents, developing site-specific safety plans, performing safety audits and incident investigations, enforcing OSHA/NFPA 70E standards, managing safety records, delivering electrical safety training, onboarding new hires, and participating in client meetings. Travel to field sites required with occasional overnight stays; full-time role with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years safety experience as an individual contributor in construction or electrical substation or equivalent background
- 1-3 years of substation and electrical experience strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of federal, state, local and company safety regulations
- Ability to work independently in remote field environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management systems
- Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
