Job Summary

Lead and promote a positive safety culture across ramp and operational teams by coaching employees on safe work practices and identifying improvement opportunities. Conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits to prevent injuries and equipment damage, while facilitating training sessions that keep safety top of mind. Investigate workplace incidents and near misses to identify root causes, partner with local leaders to implement action plans, and monitor safety trends using data to recommend improvements. Prepare teams for airline, OSHA, FAA, DOT, and internal audits by maintaining accurate records and documentation to support audit readiness. Build strong relationships with airline partners and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering or in related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in safety, operations, aviation, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or a related environment
  • Ability to lead by example and influence others through coaching and collaboration
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
