Field Safety Specialist

Conduct daily safety audits, investigate incidents, and assign action items to ensure compliance with EHS principles at the Verdigris Complex. Train employees on safety policies, mentoring staff through coaching and observation while developing and updating safety procedures. Lead team building efforts, facilitate pre-job risk assessments, and manage the industrial hygiene monitoring program including exposure evaluations and sampling. Address employee safety concerns, implement controls to reduce exposure, and assist management in executing safe work practices. Work onsite with two other specialists to maintain high safety standards and influence site safety culture.
