Job Summary

Conduct daily safety oversight during construction operations, ensuring site-specific plans align with federal, state, and local regulations. Implement project-specific safety training for all employees and subcontractors, document violations, and enforce corrective actions for identified hazards. Lead safety meetings, collaborate with customers and agencies, and participate in incident investigations or accompany injured employees for treatment. Perform environmental, health, and safety compliance audits while educating personnel through on-the-spot training and tailgate meetings. Requires 1-5 years of safety experience, OSHA500 certification, and ability to work extended hours. Salary $100,000-$138,000 annually. Required Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of safety-related experience
  • Knowledge of and ability to enforce all federal, state, local, and Company safety regulations/requirements
  • Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures
  • Knowledge of: PPE, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Scaffolding, Crane/Rigging, Hazardous Communication, Equipment Safety, Incident Investigation, Traffic Control, OQ Training
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary for business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must pass criminal background checks
  • Must pass MVR
  • Must pass drug tests (post-employment and random testing)

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior heavy construction experience preferred
  • Preferred Certificates—Occupational Safety, Osha500, First Aid, and CPR
