Field Safety Manager

Field Safety Manager to implement and maintain Bechtel’s ESH programs across project phases, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement of safety performance. Responsibilities include developing and sustaining safety and health programs, integrating safety into planning, design, construction, commissioning, and startup; preparing regulatory reports; providing technical support to the ESH team and other project groups; coordinating with engineering, construction, procurement, subcontracts, and client teams; monitoring adherence to regulatory standards and Bechtel’s Life Critical Requirements; applying risk assessment and ESH management systems; participating in emergency preparedness, incident investigations, and trends analysis; developing relationships with stakeholders and supervising safety personnel; conducting assessments to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance; and supporting field activities with technical guidance. Education and experience emphasize Master’s degree with 8+ years (or equivalent combinations) in safety/health disciplines; ISO 45001 knowledge and certifications (ASP, OHST, CSP, CIH) are highly desirable. Travel willingness and valid driver’s license required. Relocation is authorized nationally (family). Telework type indicates Full-Time Office/Project with field presence in Chandler, AZ.
