Field Safety Engineer

Job Summary

Implement and enforce the project safety program by conducting field inspections to identify hazards and monitor compliance with OSHA standards. Assist with hazard analysis, risk mitigation planning, and incident reporting while supporting fall protection, confined space, electrical, and crane safety programs. Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and worker orientations to maintain a strong safety culture among project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. Work on large-scale specialized construction projects in Phoenix, Arizona, including semiconductor facilities and data centers, with a contract schedule from May through December.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in construction safety, EHS, or industrial safety roles
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction safety practices
  • Experience working in construction or industrial project environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly in the field
  • Fluent English (written and verbal)

Desired Qualifications

  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent EHS certification
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
  • Experience on large construction projects, industrial facilities, data centers, or semiconductor projects
