Job Summary
Field Roof Technician / Roof Field Inspector with Hancock Claims Consultants, operating as an independent contractor in the Providence, RI area. Conducts roof and property inspections on steep and high roofs, evaluates exterior and interior damage, and performs underwriting property inspections. Utilizes technology to assess property damage and support claims management, requires ladder access (32’ ladder), Lidar device capability, and proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Teams). Roofing/construction or insurance-claims experience is a plus; HAAG certification is a plus; ability to obtain any required certifications to join the contractor pool. Emphasizes professionalism, attention to detail, strong customer service, empathy for insureds, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Required Qualifications
- HAAG Certification is a plus
- Must have a reliable Truck, Van or SUV with ability to transport at least a 32’ ladder
- Must have a Lidar equip device or the ability to obtain one
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams
- The ability to get any required certifications or credentials to become part of our contractor pool
