Job Summary
Independent Contractor Roof Field Inspector responsible for inspecting steep/high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections for claims management. Operates within Hancock Claims Consultants' nationwide network to support rapid catastrophe response and detailed inspections, using cutting-edge technology. Must safely navigate various roof types, conduct inspections in varied weather conditions, and demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and strong customer service with insureds. Requires a reliable vehicle with space for a 32’ ladder, lidar-capable device, and proficiency with MS Office/Outlook/Teams; HAAG certification is a plus and ability to obtain any required certifications or credentials to join the contractor pool.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a reliable Truck, Van or SUV with the ability to transport and carry at least a 32’ ladder
- Lidar equipped device or the ability to obtain one (e.g. iPad Pro/iPhone 12 pro or greater)
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams
- HAAG Certification is a plus
- The ability to get any required certifications or credentials to become a part of our contractor pool
