Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing care for expectant mothers in the home care environment, including travel to patient sites and continuous education for patients and family members. Continually assess mothers' conditions to ensure safety, modify plans of care based on reassessment or prescriber orders, and establish long-term trust relationships. Offer clinical support to physicians and hospitals upon request while focusing on one-on-one patient teaching. Requires an active unrestricted RN license in Washington with 1+ years of labor and delivery experience, IV infusion competency, and reliable transportation for travel up to 2 hours one way.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Washington
- 1+ years of labor and delivery or obstetrical nursing experience (high-risk perinatal, antepartum)
- IV infusion competency
- Ability to utilize Microsoft programs including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Teams and the Internet
- Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel up to 2 hours one way to patient sites within a designated area (and on rare occasions slightly more but not further than 2.5 to 3 hours away)
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
