Job Summary
Conduct market visits, neighborhood assessments, and competitor site evaluations across Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin to validate analytical findings and identify expansion opportunities. Scout dental office referrals, assess local demand through patient flow observations, and initiate relationships with providers and community partners. Research state insurance programs, track competitor openings and closures, and monitor practice acquisition listings to support strategic growth decisions. Submit structured reports, update multi-state databases, and integrate field insights with system data for leadership review. Requires 90% travel, including extended trips, with a base in Des Plaines, IL.
Required Qualifications
- GED or equivalent education
- 1–3 years of experience in field research, community outreach, business development, real estate, or a related role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable traveling, exploring new areas, and working independently in the field
- Ability to observe, document, and communicate findings clearly and objectively
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with analytical and leadership teams
- Valid driver's license
- Must be available to travel as needed, including extended or multi-day trips
- Position has a 90% travel requirement
