Job Summary
Provide coverage for General Managers on leave by enforcing policies and inventory practices at U-Haul centers in the area; review implementation and assist at centers to stay apprised of programs; participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University; hire and educate new team members; 1-3 years of retail management with P&L accountability; valid driver’s license; ability to work weekends and holidays; high school diploma or equivalent; physical and safety requirements for a retail environment; benefits include comprehensive health plans, 401(k), and employee programs.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of management experience in retail or other service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
- Previous management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University
- Capacity to hire and educate new team members
