Job Summary
Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) in West territory to support payer access and reimbursement for Sobi therapies. Responsibilities include engaging health systems, hospitals, and HCP practices to resolve reimbursement and access issues; educate customers on benefit verification, prior authorizations, appeals, specialty distribution models, CPT coding, and J-codes; collaborate cross-functionally with HUB, sales, patient services, and account teams; serve as reimbursement and access subject matter expert across payer channels (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Government); manage field-based customer interactions through virtual and in-person engagements; travel within the defined territory to support accounts and improve patient access to Sobi products; requires a BA/BS and 5 years in Pharmaceuticals/Biotech/Medical Device with payer coverage/policy experience; HIPAA compliance and strong analytical, data-management, and communication skills are essential. The base salary range is $115,000–$150,000 with potential bonuses; location preference includes CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, ID, NV, and surrounding regions; remote work is not indicated as a primary arrangement, with travel and field-based responsibilities emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a B.A/B.S. required
- Preference will be given to Hematology/Oncology experience
- Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid drug coverage
- Technical Expertise (Reimbursement and Patient Access)
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical Skills
- HIPAA knowledge
- In office dispensing experience (preferred)
- Hub and Patient Services experience (preferred)
- Territory management experience across payer channels
