Job Summary
Senior Field Reimbursement Manager for a high-growth medical technology organization. The role partners with hospitals, physicians, and internal commercial teams to drive reimbursement strategy, educate stakeholders, and optimize coding, coverage, and payment pathways for innovative therapies. Responsibilities include assessing reimbursement readiness, providing expertise on coding and payer policy navigation, developing tailored strategies to support account success, educating providers and billing teams on reimbursement practices and health economic value messaging, presenting complex reimbursement concepts to diverse groups, serving as reimbursement SME for the commercial organization, delivering field insights to market access leadership, and supporting strategic regional initiatives with sales leadership. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in field reimbursement/market access, strong understanding of reimbursement methodologies, experience with coding/claims/payer policy/coverage strategy, and a Bachelor’s degree. Field-based/remote role with 50%+ travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of field reimbursement / market access experience within medical device or healthcare
- Strong understanding of hospital and physician reimbursement methodologies
- Expertise with coding, claims processes, payer policy, and coverage strategy
- Experience supporting new or disruptive technologies preferred
- Proven ability to influence hospital administrators, billing teams, and physician stakeholders
- Strong presentation, communication, and strategic planning skills
