Job Summary
Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Licensing or registration required. Includes advanced practice nurses such as: nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, certified nurse midwives, and certified registered nurse anesthetists. Coordinate with health care team, educate patients and families, assess home environment for safety, and supervise care delivery while on the road in home health settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- CPR Certification
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 1-2 years related experience
- Home Health experience preferred
- Microsoft Office skills
