Job Summary
Field Registered Nurse (PRN) provides and coordinates nursing care for patients in home health settings. Assess patient health problems, develop and implement nursing care plans, monitor patients, record vital signs, order and interpret diagnostic tests, direct and supervise other nursing personnel, coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams, and educate patients/families on health topics and disease prevention. Requires licensing/registration, RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1-2 years of related experience in home health; work is performed on the road visiting patients in multiple Louisiana locations. Day shift with on-the-road responsibilities; MS Office skills mentioned as part of requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- CPR Certification
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: One to two years related experience
- Home Health setting experience (preferred)
- Licensing or registration required
- Valid RN license (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)
