Job Summary
Assess patient health problems, develop nursing care plans, and administer care to ill, injured, or disabled patients in home health settings. Monitor and record symptoms, vital signs, and diagnostic test results while maintaining accurate medical records. Direct less skilled personnel, coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to evaluate care plans, and instruct families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Inform physicians of patient conditions and manage infection control programs. Requires a valid RN license, CPR certification, and one year of home health experience. On the road during standard day shifts.
