Job Summary
Field Recruiter role supporting Waste Connections of Canada by partnering with hiring managers to manage full-cycle recruiting, source and screen candidates, build a talent pool for current and future roles, and use analytics to improve hiring effectiveness. The role requires collaboration with Districts, travel to district locations as required, and ongoing relationship-building with educational institutions and industry networks to promote the company’s culture and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of high-volume recruiting experience
- Experience in industrial, logistics, or transportation recruitment is an asset
- Proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g., Workday) and CRM tools
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Willingness and ability to travel to various districts/regions
