Field Quality Associate - 2nd Shift

Field Quality Associate on 2nd Shift serves as the main liaison between service locations (typically automotive OEMs) and suppliers, driving continuous improvement initiatives and resolving quality issues. Responsibilities include conducting supplier audits, coordinating with cross-functional teams to set quality objectives, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, ensuring compliance with quality systems (ISO, TS 16949, AIAG Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), and documenting notes and supplier information. The role requires strong communication and customer-service skills, basic problem solving and data analysis, and the ability to read blueprints/schematics. Travel to customer/service locations and onboarding/training are required; on-site work at assigned service locations with potential overtime and flexible scheduling. Education: high school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred; valid passport required for international travel. Must be able to drive and maintain effective relationships with supplier and service-location staff to drive quality improvements and cost reductions.
