Job Summary
Field Property Adjuster role performing virtual and on-site investigations to assess property damage, determine liability, evaluate loss extent, and negotiate fair settlements. Travel to and from policyholder residences is required; investigations include visiting homes, estimating damage, and using claims software with a company car and laptop in a paperless environment. Responsibilities also include evaluating subrogation opportunities, reporting incidents of theft, fraud, or arson to authorities, and engaging with policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, and investigators. Strong customer service, communication, and willingness to travel are essential; the role may involve CAT deployments and field work in MO. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred experience in construction or insurance and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent Customer service experience
- Construction or Insurance experience is highly desirable and preferred
- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
- Computer Literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Proficiency with smartphones and applications
- Eagerness to learn about insurance policies and property damage from the inside out to identify how coverage applies to a particular loss
- Outgoing personality that would enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people including policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, and fraud investigators
- Valid driver's license and Bondable
