Job Summary
Field Project Engineer responsible for field service, on-site installations and system builds for vision inspection systems, with remote phone support and customer training. Role requires bilingual Korean/English communication, professional on-site representation, site surveys, installations, maintenance and repairs, hardware/software/network configuration, proactive problem prevention, and support for 24/7 service plans. Travel up to 80% to customer sites, including relocation assistance where offered, and coordination with international teams. Emphasis on delivering customer satisfaction, documentation, and escalating issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree and technical courses or equivalent experience
- 2 years of independent field installations and troubleshooting experience
- Experience in the automation field with a preference for machine vision equipment
- Knowledge and experience in manufacturing automation components and programmable devices
- 80% travel availability
