Job Summary
Field Project Engineer responsible for field service, remote phone support, and system build support for vision inspection systems; travel up to ~80% with relocation assistance provided. Act as on-site representative, conduct site surveys, installations, maintenance, and repairs; configure hardware, software, and network components; provide customer training and proactive problem resolution; maintain documentation and ensure high customer satisfaction. Requires Associate's degree or equivalent, experience in automation/machine vision, and strong field-installation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree and technical courses or equivalent experience
- Experience in the automation field with a preference for machine vision equipment
- 2 years of independent field installations and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge and experience in manufacturing automation components and programmable devices
- 80% travel availability
