Job Summary
The role involves providing on-site supervision of the Logging-While-Drilling (LWD) process, ensuring accurate data presentation to customers, and managing tool preparations and data acquisition. The candidate will lead engineering efforts, perform quality control over services delivered, and provide technical consultations. Proficiency in LWD software and essential skills in survey calculations and log generation are required. Responsibilities include performance improvement participation, assembling Bottom Hole Assemblies, and reporting on job activities. Experience in training and developing junior personnel is also needed.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of field experience in LWD
- Completion of basic M/LWD training program
- Successfully passed company tests or met task guideline requirements
- Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to standards required
- Good communication, arithmetic, data entry and recording skills
- Ability to read and interpret formation well logs and directional survey information
- Relevant on and offshore safety certificates
