Job Summary
Qualify customers by obtaining filed acceptance on-site, respond to queries, and visit clients to progress opportunities through discussion and presentation. Develop contacts with customers, suppliers, and analysts for market intelligence, suggest product upgrades, and identify weaknesses based on customer needs. Travel internationally up to 50% of the time to support sales and technical validation. This role supports SPTS wafer processing solutions including silicon etch, dielectric etch, and PVD across R&D, pilot, and volume production environments.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in a technology field
- professional experience in the engineering field
- knowledge of how semiconductors are manufactured
- the processing of semiconductors by plasma CVD, PVD or Etch
- semiconductor packaging
- experience of wafer processing
- gained at either an equipment vendor or wafer fab
- enthusiastic personality
- a positive attitude
- excellent attention to detail
- ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- ability to work across all levels within the company
- across regions
- excellent communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- ideally in a semiconductor industry
- German is an advantage
