Field Planner/Scheduler – Power Generation Construction

Job Summary
Coordinate and organize multiple sources of schedule inputs and performance data into a master schedule platform, delivering project status reports as required. Implement project planning and scheduling strategies, manage interfaces between contractors, and maintain the integrity of contractor schedules within the Program suite. Perform critical path and probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules, preparing customized reports on staffing, engineering, and construction progress. Provide quality assurance to functional groups and contractors regarding schedule performance tracking. This role requires on-site presence in a rotation of six weeks on, two weeks off, with accommodations and meals provided. Candidates must possess 10-15 years of experience with Primavera P6 and large-scale Oil & Gas construction. SOX control responsibilities may apply.
Required Qualifications
- Large scale Oil & Gas construction experience
- 10-15 years experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software for large-scale capital projects
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction
- Minimum 10 years of applicable experience
- Experience in the development, preparation, review, baselining of project schedules, with experience in critical path analysis
- Experience with scheduling and risk analysis programs such as Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse, etc.
- Must have 10-15 years experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software for large-scale capital projects
- Industry certifications a plus
- Strong communication skills

- Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required
- Develops good working relationships with project team
- Implement project planning & scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations
- Manage schedule interfaces between contractors
- Promote and maintain the overall integration and integrity of contractor schedules within the Program suite of project schedules
- Provide interface and quality assurance to Project functional groups and contractors regarding the tracking and reporting of schedule performance
- Support the project team in the implementation of an integrated enterprise based cross functional and EPC master schedule program
- Preparing staffing, engineering and construction progress and customized reports
- Perform critical path analysis
- Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated schedules and contractor schedules
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable
- Role will be in rotation on site with accommodations and meals provided; six weeks on, two weeks off
- This role requires on site presence
- Project/Program specific responsibilities: This role will work in tandem with other planner/schedulers on our team to support consistent site presence throughout the life cycle of the project
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred candidate will have experience in power generation construction on both the EPC and Owner's side
- Industry certifications a plus
