Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •HS diploma or equivalent
• •2 to 5 or more years of general pipeline experience in the natural gas industry
• •related experience in similar industry
• •Knowledge and experience with line location equipment and techniques
• •Experience with hand tools as well as specialty tools
• •Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of mechanical equipment
• •good verbal/written communication skills

• •Ability to read and utilize drawings, schematics, alignment sheets
• •Proven knowledge and understanding of procedures used to safely pig pipeline, i.e. launching, receiving and inspection
• •Knowledge of liquid handling equipment, pigging facilities
• •Knowledge to conduct pressure surveys on gathering lines and central delivery points
• •Experienced in monitoring natural gas quality using sampling equipment
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Must have a valid driver license with acceptable driving record
• •Demonstrate the ability to operate off-road vehicles safely
• •Willing to work at more than one specific station
• •Above average physical mobility to enable access to elevated height areas via stairs or ladders

• •Work independently as liaison between Summit Midstream and outside entities, i.e. landowners, emergency response agencies, contractors and other pipeline companies
• •Plan, organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities

• •Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain optimum availability, efficiency, and throughput
• •Responsible for performing minor as well as major maintenance on engines, compressors, flares, separators, slug cathcers, air compressors, and cooling fans
• •Operate and assist in maintenance activities at compressor facilities
• •Perform pipeline patrols and inspect lines throughout the area
• •coordinate the activities of crews at other locations
• •Manage all activities with a focus on safety and compliance
• •Inspect, maintain and repair as needed all facilities as assigned, including but not limited to pipelines, compression, and measurement facilities
• •On-call responsibility for areas of responsibility as needed

Desired Qualifications

• •technical certification or equivalent training in mechanical environment or energy related field
• •HS diploma or equivalent, technical certification or equivalent training in mechanical environment or energy related field preferred
