Job Summary
Field Operations Technician role at Sunrun conducting site assessments at customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data for solar design; perform pre-install survey and post-install inspection visits; climb ladders, walk rooftops, and perform attic inspections; submit survey data via mobile tools; coordinate with install teams and AHJ for inspections; ensure installations meet workmanship, code, and safety standards; provide documentation verifying inspection readiness; schedule inspections and manage field readiness across multiple locations; flexible weekend/holiday availability and driving between job sites; must be comfortable working outdoors and around customers; required to have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
- Experience in PV design/installation or PV electrical work is helpful with a minimum of one year of field construction experience preferred
