Job Summary
Field Operations Technician needed to install and deploy LiDAR-based systems across North America. You will support system installations, mount sensors, run and terminate Ethernet cabling, set up network switches and modems, power systems, and verify connectivity. You’ll troubleshoot with engineering teams, ensure a smooth commissioning and handover to customers, and represent Blickfeld professionally on-site. The role requires hands-on technical aptitude, basic networking understanding, comfort with hand and power tools, the ability to read basic technical drawings, and willingness to travel up to ~50% to customer sites in North America. Prior experience in hands-on technical roles and a proactive mindset help you succeed in this field-operational environment; ideal candidates are reliable, adaptable, and collaborative, with a focus on delivering high-quality field deployments and positive customer experiences.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or logistics environments
- Familiarity with PoE devices, cellular connectivity, or Linux/Windows systems
