Job Summary
Walk vacant homes to ensure they are move-in ready, conducting inspections, quality control, and cataloging. Perform basic maintenance and repairs including changing smoke detector batteries, light bulbs, filters, and winterization. Prepare assets for scheduled move-ins by identifying issues, re-keying, reprogramming garage remotes, and performing light cleans. Verify utility connections, ensure smart home systems are operational, and install or remove portable self-show lockboxes. Inspect properties for scam activity, perform occupancy checks on eviction homes, and respond to eviction lockouts as needed. Maintain a clean vehicle, manage fleet inventory, and handle administrative customer service functions. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work without direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in either property management or a maintenance/inspections related field
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Always maintain valid auto insurance
- Willingness to drive safely and follow the company's fleet driving policies
- Capability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to adhere to the provided schedule
- Ability to efficiently complete all assigned tasks within the designated timeframe
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds or more
Desired Qualifications
- Property maintenance and repair skillset
- Experience in customer service
- Comfortable with Technology (Salesforce and Yardi knowledge)
