Field Operations Specialist - Human Services Program - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Job Summary
Conduct assigned in-person field visits within an assigned geographic region to verify participant residence, observe safety and wellness indicators, and document household information using approved mobile tools. Coordinate with supervisors, dispatch teams, and quality review staff while escalating safety concerns or reportable risks per established procedures. Complete visit documentation, reports, and data entry in a timely manner, maintaining accurate travel logs and case notes. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards while adhering to field safety protocols and working independently in residential and community-based environments. Frequent travel (75%–90%) including overnight assignments is required; evening, weekend, and holiday work may occur.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in field operations in related area such as human services, community outreach, case management, investigations, residential/community visits, or similar work
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to meet company travel and motor vehicle requirements
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in fast-paced field environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare accurate, objective, and timely documentation and reports
- Proficiency using smartphones, tablets, GPS/routing tools, Microsoft Office, and electronic documentation systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Situational awareness skills
- Ability to carry required equipment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to complete required federal, client, and company training prior to assignment
- Ability to pass and maintain a government security background investigation

- Ability to travel domestically on short notice and on a frequent basis via air and/or ground transportation

- Conduct follow-up visits or address verification activities as required
- Complete visit documentation, reports, and data entry in a timely and accurate manner
- Identify and escalate safety concerns or reportable risks in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times
- Protect sensitive participant, program, and government information
- Must be able to travel 75%–90% including same-day, regional, and overnight travel
- Candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to a major airport
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in social work, human services, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, public administration, emergency management, or a related field
