Field Operations Manager

Job Summary
Oversee on-site project workforce, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, and safety training; develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion within budget; collaborate with project team on estimates and material procurement; coordinate foremen, tradespeople, laborers, and subcontractors; conduct regular quality inspections and prepare progress reports; ensure compliance with project specifications, zoning requirements, and regulations; proactively identify and address challenges, document safety violations and other deficiencies; maintain clear, consistent communication with the Project Team and stakeholders regarding progress and issues; travel/relocation as required for projects in the Southeastern US.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the building trades with a proven track record of successful project management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Deep understanding of construction blueprints, drawings, and plans
- Thorough knowledge of legal requirements and best practices for construction sites
- Ability to quickly identify and solve problems and demonstrate strong decision-making skills
- Physical ability to navigate construction sites in various weather conditions and lift up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to travel and relocate as required by project location, primarily within the Southeastern US
