Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of field technicians and supervisors to drive improvements in on-time installations and preventative maintenance while ensuring safety, quality, and customer service standards. Manage recruiting, training, and development to meet growth demands, set key performance indicators, and oversee scheduling to accommodate increased customer requests. Directly assist technicians during poor weather, project delays, or emergencies, and coordinate activities with third-party contractors and internal workgroups to resolve client issues. Monitor fleet management, including GPS tracking and accident reporting, and ensure workforce compliance with all safety regulations. Participate in software enhancement development and analyze data for workforce planning decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in a field operations environment
- 5+ years' experience of installation and maintenance with fiber technology
- A valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- The ability to maintain insurability under the company's auto policy
- Ability to travel within work geography
- Ability to travel overnight
