Field Operations Manager

Job Summary

Lead field operations and construction projects across western Canada, overseeing project teams from inception through delivery to meet safety, schedule, quality, and profitability targets. Provide leadership to field teams on quality, scheduling, HSE, documentation, and reporting while managing logistics, execution plans, and critical-path work schedules. Facilitate workforce planning by recruiting new talent, conducting onboarding, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery services. Manage performance of direct and indirect reports through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning while ensuring compliance with union obligations and employment standards. Travel regularly to project sites to support regional business plan goals and exceed client expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Construction Management background
  • demonstrated experience as a Senior Superintendent, Field Operations Manager, or Senior Project Manager
  • major general contractor
  • successful track record of the management of major commercial and institutional construction projects in excess of $100 million
  • various project formats (D-B-B, D-B, CM, IPD, P3)
  • Sound understanding of the field management process
